Jacqueline Ann Dean aged 68 of Grand Rapids passed away Thursday, October 13, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband Datus R. Dean. Jacqueline will be lovingly remembered by her children; Doug (Karen Katz) Simmons, James Simmons, Brad Simmons, Vicki (Arthur Shinn) Dean, grandchildren; Lucus, Kyle, Nikki Merklinger, 3 great-grandchildren, step-children; Roger (Laurie) Dean, Nancy Lascarri, Penny Dean, Sally Garrison, Patty Dean, her brother, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins. She loved dancing, Polka music, bowling and reading. She enjoyed supporting the American Indian culture of Michigan. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at the Reyers North Valley Chapel 2815 Fuller Ave NE. Friends and relatives may greet her family form 1-2 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to Hospice of West Michigan.
