James Russell Bowers, age 71, passed away June 11, 2022 after a brave fight with cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents Russ and Dorothy Bowers; brothers Bill and Todd; and sister Karen. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Brenda (Reynolds); his sons Cory (Katrina) Bowers and Adam Bowers; seven grandchildren Ezra Bowers, Chase and Ashlee Bowers, Mason, Ava, Rhyan, and Miles Bowers; brother George (Pam) Bowers; and many nieces and nephews.
Jim loved camping, fishing, snowmobiling, and riding the dunes at Silver Lake. He was always willing to help people with repairs or building something. He still didn't clean out the garage though.
Services will be at Reyers North Valley Chapel with visitation on Thursday, June 16 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., memorial service on Friday, June 17 at 12:00 p.m. with one hour visitation prior at 11:00 a.m. A luncheon will follow. Cremation has taken place as per our wishes.
