Joanie M. Koets, aged 59 of Cedar Springs, passed away peacefully into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Sunday, February 21, 2010. Surviving are her husband of 40 years, Henry; Her children, Tim (Michelle) Koets, Jennifer Koets. Her grandchildren, Olivia, Samuel, Shalei, Ashley, Elizabeth, Michael, Katelyn. Brothers, James Barwacz, Daniel (Leonora) Barwacz. Her niece and nephew, Shannon Rabinski, Daniel Barwacz,Jr., many other nieces,nephews, and cousins. Joanie was employed at the National Kidney Foundation for several years. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel at Calvary Church, 707 E. Beltline N.E. with Rev. Tom Couch officiating. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. If you would like to pay your respects to Joanie, please visit the Reyers North Valley Chapel from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday.
