John William Fielstra, age 51, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2015 after his battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his father Edward Fielstra, and stepfather Darryl Wright. Surviving are his wife of 25 years Lynne, their children; Gabrielle (Jeremy) Remmelts, Zachary Fielstra, Amanda (Brandon) Spencer, grandchildren; Breyana, Hunter, Fisher, Archer, mother; Arlene Wright, sisters and brothers; Pauline Fielstra, Janice Andringa, Sharlynn Fielstra, Larry (Susan) Fielstra, and Mark Fielstra. Please join for Visitation on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Reyers North Valley Chapel from 5-8pm. Additional visitation on Wednesday from 10-11am will be followed by his Funeral Service beginning at 11am at New Community Church (2340 Dean Lake Ave Ne, Grand Rapids, Michigan 49505) with Pastor Lew VanderMeer officiating.
