Joseph Anthony Fortuna

Joseph Anthony Fortuna passed away with his wife by his side on April 7, 2014 at the age of 67. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Marcia; his children Kristin & Greg Lindsey; Joe & Carrie Fortuna; grandchildren, Zachary & AJ Lindsey, Madison & Ella Fortuna. Also surviving are siblings Henry & Mary Fortuna, MaryAnn & Larry Feist, Gloria & Ron Feist; sister-in-law Lucy Young; many nieces, nephews and his best friend Marty Scharf. Joseph retired after 30 years at Honeywell where he worked as a systems engineer. He proudly served his country for 20 years with both The United States Air Force, and the last 13 ½ years with the Michigan Army National Guard, 126th Infantry Regiment. He also enjoyed spending time at the family cabin, working on his computer, and spending time with the light of his life, his grandchildren. Please join the family for visitation at Reyers North Valley Chapel from 2-4 and 6-8pm on Thursday, April 10, 2014. Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm on Friday April 11, 2014 at Reyers North Valley Chapel with Pastor Timothy Smith of Sparta Church of the Nazarene officiating.
