

Lawrence Ray Hedgecock, aged 86, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 while in the company of his family. He was born in Eau Claire, WI in1930 to the late Ray and Dorthea Hedgecock. Larry will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife of 65 years, Joan F. (Tuffs) and their children, Ann (Thomas) Senge, Matthew (Laura) Hedgecock and Bonnie (Bruce) Grau; grandchildren, Breanna (Matthew) Kudo, Teresa Crawford, Nathaniel and Josh Hedgecock, Madalyn and Collin Grau and great grandchild, Owen Crawford. Also surviving are his brother-in-laws, Edward Ranville and William (Ellie) Tuffs as well as his sister-in-law Gloria Jackson. Larry proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a dedicated employee of Westinghouse Electric Corporation for 31 years until his retirement. He was also a long time and active member of Zion Lutheran Church. Larry was an avid fan of both MSU and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Please join Larry’s family for funeral services at Zion Lutheran Church (582 Lamoreaux Dr. NW, Comstock Park, MI 49321) on Saturday April 29, 2017 at 11 AM with visitation starting one hour prior at 10 AM. He will be laid to rest near family in Fairplains Cemetery in Grand Rapids.
