Maxine Ruth O’Neill, 64, of Grand Rapids, went to sleep peacefully early Sunday morning, December 5th, 2010. She was born April 18th, 1946 and is the daughter of Lottie VanOort and the late Arthur R VanOort. She enjoyed art work and loved to draw. Maxine enjoyed and loved her family. In addition to her mother she is survived by her son, Shane (Julie) O’Neill; three grandchildren, granddaughters, Kristen and Jayce, and grandson Nolan; a special friend Bill Vanos; sister Diane (John) Glerum. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 8th, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Reyers North Valley Chapel. Burial will be in Fairplains Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 7th , 2010 from 4-8 p.m.. Memorial contributions can be made to the Salvation Army, with envelopes provided at the funeral home. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Bill Vanos for all of the love and care he had given to Maxine during the past few years.
