Nancy Ann Suchodolski

Mrs. Nancy Ann Suchodolski (Warren), age 77 of Grand Rapids went to be with the Lord on Sunday June 29, 2025. She was born in Grand Rapids, MI in 1947 to Jerry and Lila Warren (Williams) as the second of four children. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald Suchodolski, and several aunts/uncles: Mickie L. Taylor (Olan), Charles Williams (Billie Jean), Glen Williams, June Sanborn (Harold), and Bill Warren. She is survived by her son Darin Suchodolski, grandson Alexander Gundrum, step-granddaughter, Christina Thatcher, two great-grandchildren, siblings Ronald Warren (Linda Warren Kingman), Barbara Warren (Dave Stobart), Wayne Warren (Kristin Kooistra-Merringa) and friend Eric Lucas, and her aunt Nancy Ruth Scott. Nieces and nephews include Connie Warren Hight (Fred), Amy Warren Swartz, Dan Warren (Kris), Chris Warren (Barbara), Kerry Dunn, Callie Jones (Phil), Brenna Dunn (Newman), Steve Warren (Rachel), Coty Warren.

She graduated from Northview High School as homecoming queen, and began an active work career that included Steelcase, Foremost Insurance Company, The Universal Companies, IBM and Farmer’s Insurance where she retired as a SME (Subject Matter Expert) in 2020 all while providing for her son Darin, and maintaining an active life with travel (Camping!) and especially lighthouse tours. She survived metastatic breast cancer, chemo, radiation, and fighting the good fight against many challenges including dementia, arthritis and heart disease, while collecting rocking horses and butterflies.

A visitation for Nancy will be held Thursday, July 3, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Reyers North Valley Chapel, 2815 Fuller Ave N.E., Grand Rapids, Michigan 49505. A funeral service will occur Thursday, July 3, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 2815 Fuller Ave N.E., Grand Rapids, Michigan 49505. A graveside service will occur Thursday, July 3, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Blythefield Memory Gardens, 6200 Brewer Ave NE, Belmont, MI 49306.
