Patricia Anne Branham

Patricia (Dory) Branham, 84, passed away peacefully in the arms of her beloved children on Friday, April 28. She was preceded in death by: her husband of nearly 62 years, Alfred Branham,Jr.; her brother Michael Dory; and her parents Elizabeth and Robert. She is survived by: her children, Shannon, Tracy, Kelly, Cheyne, and Tara; grandchildren, Nicole, Taylor, Charlotte, Flannery, Alex, Hannah,and Danielle; her sister-in-law, Delores (Branham) Bosley; sister-in-law, Judy Dory; and many adored nieces and nephews.

Patricia was born and raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, but later moved to Chicago to attend secretarial school and model for Marshall Field’s. After marriage she and Alfred moved first to Lansing and then Grand Rapids where they raised their family. Patricia was a teacher’s aide at Central High School and then Lincoln School. She was a lover of art and classical music and an avid painter.

She had many friends and inspired tremendous devotion from all who knew her. We, her family, take tremendous comfort in knowing that she now rests with the Blessed Mother.

Visitation will be held at Reyers North Valley Chapel on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 1:00pm at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 2275 Diamond Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505. The family will welcome guests one hour prior to the start of mass.
