Patricia Ann Couturier

Patricia was the beloved wife of the late Gerald James Couturier for 25 years. She is survived by her children; Ken (Julie) Couturier, Kraig (Martha) Couturier, Colleen (Frank) Williams, mother; Esther Heemstra, grandchildren; Ambre (John) Judd, Kyle Couturier, Amanda Couturier, Alisha Couturier, Rebekah Couturier, Monae Williams, Alex Williams, siblings; George (Dee) Heemstra, Fred (Delores) Heemstra and Rich Heemstra. Patricia is preceded in death by her father, Theodore Heemstra and her sister, Yvonne Heemstra. She will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends.

Patricia was raised Catholic, was very spiritual, and was a woman of strong faith. Throughout Patricia’s life, she lived by the AA philosophy and the serenity prayer, both guiding her through trials and struggles that she faced especially later in life.

Some of her most fond and peaceful memories growing up was spending summers at the Rusche Farm with her siblings and grandparents, and Pettit Lake where she enjoyed fishing and spending time with family. She lived a quiet life. Patricia also enjoyed reading, decorating her home, and working out in the yard in her rock and flower gardens. She loved her children and her grandchildren unconditionally and was very much a kind and gentle soul. Patricia was always so accepting of others and loved them as they were…a rare and special quality.

She will be dearly missed.

A Memorial Visitation will take place on Tuesday, February 23rd from 3-7 PM, with a private Memorial Service beginning at 7 PM at Reyers North Valley Chapel.
