Robert Eldon Pellow, aged 70, of Manton, MI, formerly of Grand Rapids, MI, was taken home to his eternal life on October 19, 2013. He was born in Lansing, MI on May 7, 1943 and was preceded in death by his parents, Robert L. and Helen (Swan) Pellow; step-father, James Verburg; and two brothers, Calvin L. Pellow and Paul D. Pellow. Surviving are his brother, Carl (Wendy) Pellow; many nieces and nephews, and he leaves to mourn his only son, Robert James Pellow and forever friend, Joanne Pellow. Robert also leaves man's best friend and true companion, his Border Collie (Dog - Poopie). Bob was mentor to many young men and had the ability to fix just about anything that was broken. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Visitation and Celebration of his Life will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 from 1-4 PM at Reyers North Valley Chapel. The family would like to extend a special thanks to hospice and neighbors for their continued support.
