Ronald H. McKay

Ronald H. McKay, age 83, of Comstock Park, loving husband, father, and grandfather, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Friday January 19, 2018. Ron is now reunited with his wife, Joyce, of 46 years.

Ron will be lovingly remembered by his children; Tracy (Jerry), Cam (Paula), April (Jack), and Brenda.

Grandchildren; Ryan, Justin, Gabrielle, Joshua, Jessica, Nicole, Austin (Elana), Cassidy, and Reichen, and great grandchild, Emersynn. Also survived by siblings: Shauna, Linda (Mike), Bob, Jim (Brenda) and sisters- in- law Nancy and Betty and brother- in- law Hugh. Preceded in death by his parents, wife Joyce, brother Jack, grandson Jeremy, and brother-in-law Bill. He grew up in the U.P., served in the Marine Corps, helped construct the Mackinac Bridge, and worked for 23 years as a manufacturing engineer for Steelcase. He graduated from Michigan State University and was a passionate Spartan fan. Ron was a very generous man, with a deep love for family, and a great zest for life. Visitation for Ron will be held Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with an 8 p.m. Rosary at Reyers North Valley Chapel. The funeral service will be held Monday, January 22, 11 a.m. at Reyers North Valley Chapel.
