In February of 1949, Sunny was united in marriage to the love of her life William “Red” Rider, they celebrated 57 years together before Red’s passing in 2006.
Sunny spent her 31-year career working for the Amway Company as a lab tech. She was instrumental in developing and improving many of the beauty products that are still available today.
A woman of great faith, Sunny lived her life leading by God’s example. She studied the bible and used it as lessons as reminders on how to live a good life. She found her inner strength from her faith and would encourage others to find their way to Jesus.
Sunny is survived by her daughters: Pamela Lott, Sandra (Barry) Moseler and Susan Carrick; her 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and many other relatives. Besides her husband and parents, Sunny was preceded in death by her son-in-law Jerry Lott; her great-granddaughter Dana Moseler, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
A funeral service for Sunny will be held on Friday May 23, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Calvary Church where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Private burial will be at Ada Cemetery.
Memorial Donations in memory of Sunny may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
