Born September 30th, 1970, in Big Rapids, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Paula Jean (Fisher) and Vernon Harold Rolston. Victoria grew up in Drummond Island, Michigan, and graduated high school from DeTour Area Schools. As a child, she loved camping and fishing with her family. After high school, she went on to serve in the United States Army and was a veteran of Operation Desert Storm. In her later years, she remained dedicated to her fellow veterans, volunteering her time to support and uplift those who had also served. She retired as a Pennsylvania State Corrections Officer, a role in which she served with strength and commitment.
Victoria loved the beach, and especially loved sea turtles. She enjoyed laying out in the sun or even just having her feet in the sand. She was a devoted fan of anything Disney—movies, the parks—and most recently took a family trip to Disney in January of this year. Victoria could often be found sipping a Diet Coke, her favorite drink, crafting something special with her hands, or cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles and her favorite Michigan Wolverines football team with unwavering enthusiasm. .
Victoria is survived by three children, Andrew Cain, and his wife, Kayla, of Summerville, SC, Nicholas Cain, of Fleming Island, FL, Steven Cain, and his wife, Jordan, of Royersford, PA; and five grandchildren, Kensley, Carson, Parker, Weston, and Mason, and soon, her sixth grandchild Nora. She is also survived by a brother, Steve Rolston, and his wife, Sheila, of St. James City, Florida and nieces/nephews, Aubrey, Anthony, Brendan (Buster), Maddy, Rhyan and Brendan (Buddy).
Victoria was most proud of being a grandmother; she loved being called “Nan.” She cherished every moment she had with each one of her grandchildren and did anything she could to put a smile on their faces.
Victoria’s warmth, love for her family, and joyful spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
