Wayne Lee Conner, aged 82 went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, May 19, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Irene and his sister Patricia Doornbos. Surviving are his beloved wife Linda, his siblings, Max (Barb) Conner and Susan (Bob) Eldridge and his 2 step children, 4 step grandchildren and 5 step great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Wayne was a devoted employee of Michigan Bell for over 30 years and proudly served his country in the army during the Korean Conflict. He was a long time member of Zion Lutheran Church and enjoyed NASCAR, woodworking and model remote control airplanes. Please join Wayne's family for a memorial service with military honors at Zion Lutheran Church (582 Lamoreaux Dr. NW, Comstock Park, MI 49321) on Wednesday May 27, 2015 at 11 AM with visitation starting one hour prior at 10 AM.
