

After graduating from high school, Bill enlisted in the Navy and proudly served his country for four years. After his honorable discharge, Bill went to work at Grand Rapids Diecast. He worked in several compacities over his 41-year career with the company.
In 1957, Bill was united in marriage to the love of his life, Judy. Together, they raised four children. Devoted to his family, Bill lead by example instilling in his children a strong work ethic and having a faith in the Lord. Bill and Judy were longtime members of the Northeast Community Church of the Nazarene.
When Bill took time to relax, he enjoyed the occasional hunting trip, and he loved to go fishing. There were many peaceful days spent at Tippy Dam and the area’s lakes.
Bill was always looking forward to what happens next, from his signature question of “What’s for dinner tomorrow?” to hoping to live to 90 years old. Bill was always working to make his tomorrow better for his family.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Judith; his children: Terri (Steve) Fish, Christine (John) Moomey, Cynthia Camp and Phillip Camp; his brother-in-law Gail Cobb; 7 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and his Muskegon family. He was preceded in death by 6 sisters and 3 brothers.
A funeral service for Bill will be held on Wednesday April 30, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Reyers North Valley Chapel where the family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service. Burial with military honors will follow at Fairplains Cemetery.
