Dorothy Ellen Caspers

Mrs. Dorothy E. Caspers, age 91, went to be with her Lord Jesus on December 30, 2015. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the only child of the late George and Lillian Adelman Berry. The first 68 years of her life were spent in New Jersey and New York. She then lived for 23 years in North Carolina and the last 7 months of her life in Missouri.

Dorothy retired as a legal secretary and served as an active member, deaconess and elder in several different churches. She was involved in missions and went on several trips abroad. She loved the outdoors, travelling, and serving her family and others in any capacity she could.

She survived her late husband Albert B. Caspers, 3 sons, John, Robert and Richard Caspers and 2 grandchildren, Nancy Lee Juzwak and Thomas Caspers. Surviving are 3 daughters, Ann Von Thaden, Janet Caspers and Nancy Arntsen and son-in-law John W. Arntsen Jr. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, Lauren Arntsen Nolot, John W. Arntsen III, Rachel Arntsen McCormack, Christian Sean Caspers, Timothy Caspers, John M. Caspers, Jaisen Caspers, Adam Caspers, Nathan Caspers, David Malone, Jennifer Caspers Dine and Christopher Caspers; 15 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
