Harold Sid Francis Sirdoreus

Harold Sirdoreus 84 of Grandview, passed away April 8, 2016 at the Kansas City Hospice House with his family by his side. Visitation will be 6 – 8 PM Tuesday April 12 at McGilley & George Funeral Home 12913 Grandview Rd. Grandview, MO. A second visitation will be 10:30 – 1 PM Thursday April 14 at the Ochiltree Funeral Home 1823 N. John Wayne Dr. Winterset, IA 50273. Graveside service to follow at 1 PM at the Winterset Cemetery, IA Contributions to Kansas City Hospice House.

Harold was born May 17, 1931 in Dexter, IA to Fred and Nora Westerman Sirdoreus. Harold married the Love of his life, Jo Ann Gunter on July 8, 1952. After serving 2 years in the Army, they moved to Kansas City, MO and Harold went to K.C. School of Electronics. Harold went to work for Bendix Corp. and retired after 37 years.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents and 11 siblings. He is survived by his wife Jo Ann, two children Thomas Steven and Pamela Sirdoreus, Lorimor, IA and Elizabeth Dianne and husband Scott Nelson of Smithville, MO; Brother Fred Sirdoreus, Jr of Olathe, KS; two grandsons Chris and Kevin Nelson and one great grandson Ben Nelson. 2 Step-grandchildren James Thomas and Tina Lantz and 7 step-great grandchildren.
