Jarad Michael Free, 32, of Grandview, Mo., died Sept. 9, 2012. Visitation will be 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. with the service at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, at St. Sabina Catholic Church, 700 Trevis Belton, Mo. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at Saint Cecilia Catholic Church in Haysville, Kan. Burial in Resthaven Cemetery in Wichita, Kan. Memorials to the Children's Education Fund c/o PO Box 182, Belton, MO 64012. Jarad was born Jan. 24, 1980, in Fort Belvoir, Va. He moved to Grandview in 1990 at 10 years old and was a 1998 Grandview High graduate. He was a former US Marine. In 2011 Jarad received a B.S. Business Administration degree at Avila. He worked as a Financial Advisor for J.P. Morgan. Jarad loved to work out at 24 Hour Fitness and coach children's sports. He loved to celebrate life. Preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Victor Free. Survived by his wife, Shannon Davis-Free of the home; children, Damon Davis, Kaitlyn and Michael Free, of the home; his father, Dennis Free, Haysville Kan.; his mother, Margaret Hiltbrunn, Kansas City, Mo.; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Free, Haysville, Kan.; maternal grandparents, Andrew and Lilly McShannon; and sister, Teresa and David Komandt, Rapid City, SD.
