Leo Gregory Wells, 79, of Grandview, MO passed away the day before his birthday on Nov. 27, 2013. A memorial service will be in 2014. Contributions are suggested to the American Heart Assoc.
Leo was born Nov. 28, 1933 in Kansas City, Ks. to Charles Dewey & Mildred Mc Casey Wells . He was a lifelong area resident, attended Coronation of Our Lady Catholic Church. He served in the US Army Reserves, Retired. He was project manager for commercial construction retiring in 1995. He then worked part time at Home Depot and enjoyed playing cards in his free time.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son Thomas Alan Wells on Novemeber 1st, 2012 and brother Richard Wells.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years Evelyn: daughter Captain Nancy Weaver, Honolulu, HI; brother Donald Wells, Austin, TX; sisters Barbara Courtney, Tulsa, OK and Cathy Stone, Sioux City, IA; 5 grandchildren, Chloe Weaver, Houston, TX, Tristan Weaver, Honolulu, HI, Blake & Jacob Wells, Raymore, MO and Alex Schnorf, Belton, MO.
