Lovelace Anne Fuller Cubley passed away April 5, 2021 at Edgewood Manor, Raytown, MO. She was born on March 19, 1928 in Ottumwa, Iowa the daughter of Glenn and Hazel Clark Fuller. Anne graduated from Ottumwa High School. She met her beloved husband Donald at Bible Baptist Seminary in Fort Worth, TX. They were married 60 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald, son Glenn, and grandson Matthew, sister Sally Fuller Snedigar and brother Sam Fuller. She is survived by her daughter Donna Hunt and her husband Cliff of Grove City, Ohio; sons Leland Cubley and wife Ginny of Palm Harbor, Florida and Mark Cubley and wife Jody of Raytown, Missouri, 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Anne was a long time Primary Sunday School teacher, Jolly Sixties participant and a long time choir member. After she retired from J C Penny, Anne loved taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her home was always a place of love and hospitality. She cared deeply about others and gave of herself. We are all grateful for the values she demonstrated and instilled in us. God’s Word and prayer were a vital part of her life. Her faith carried her throughout her life time. Anne’s favorite verse was “All things work together for good for those who love God”. (Rom 8:28).
A Celebration of Life will be held at Manna Fellowship Church 17617 S Route 291, Pleasant Hill, MO 64080. Visitation at 10:00 a.m., service 11:30 a.m., grave site service in Forest Hill Cemetery.
