Robert Sherman Adams, 82 of Belton, MO died March 22, 2014. Visitation 6-7 pm, a Celebration of Life will follow at 7:00 pm Thursday, March 27 at McGilley & George Funeral Home in Grandview. Contributions are suggested to Vitas Hospice.
Robert was born February 15, 1932 in Kansas City, MO. He worked for area Milgram’s Stores and later as manager, Interstate Brands “Butternut Bread” as a driver and supervisor, retiring in 1962, and at Pride Cleaners for 16 ½ years, retiring in 2010. Robert was a Mason. He showed horses and was an announcer. Robert loved his dogs and fishing.
Survived by wife of 37 years, Shirlee; son Kenny Adams and wife Jenny, Raymore MO; brother, Bernie Adams and wife Geraldine, Independence MO.
