Alec Lee Schelling Volkers

Alec was born March 6, 1996 and passed away Tuesday October 15, 2002.

He is survived by his parents Kurt and Jennifer Volkers; brother Maxwell John; grandparents, Barb and Kelly Coleman, John and Amanda Schelling, Bart Volkers and Kate Johnson, Judy and Art Dougherty; aunts and uncles, Joe and Emilie Schelling, Karen and Dennis Keller, Mike and Kim Getty, Kevin Dougherty, Jeff Dougherty, Chris Dougherty and Shawn Dougherty.

Many other relatives, special friends and classmates.

A heartfelt thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at Kent Pediatrics and DeVos Children’s Hospital, as well as the staff at Ken-O-Sha and Lincoln Development Center.

The funeral service will be held Friday 1p.m. at the Cook Memorial Chapel, 4235 Prairie St. SW - ease building.

The family will receive relatives and friends Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, Grandville west building.

Memorial contributions may be made to Ken-O-Sha or Lincoln Developmental Center.
