
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 54 years, Etta Hommerson; his son, Daniel Michelle Robrahn; his daughter, Jill Randall Scholma; his grandchildren, Terra, Jamie and Chad Scholma; step-grandchildren, Nicholas, Aaron, Leanne and Justin Tuuk, Bryan and Theresa Holtvluwer, Jessica Scalici and Joseph Olmetti; brother Ralph Lynnore Robrahn; sister, Lenora Nichols; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Louise Albert Grimm, Ronald Lois Hommerson, Gerald Carol Hommerson, Judy Fred Carlon, David Hommerson, and Thomas Margaret Hommerson; and several nieces and nephews.
Allen was a charter and faithful member of Rosewood Reformed Church serving as elder and teacher. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Allen was a painter and also worked for several years at Sevens Paint and Johnson Carpet stores.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Monday at the Rosewood Reformed Church 2795 Rosewood Dr. - Jenison with Rev. Ralph Robrahn and Rev. Howard Moths officiating.
The family will meet with relatives and friends on Sunday from 2 - 5 pm at the Rosewood Reformed Church and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the Church.
