RODENHOUSE - Mrs. Ardene Johnson, DeGraaf Rodenhouse, age 70 of Holland. Ardene smiled into the face of Jesus her Lord and Savior, June 9, 1999. She lived a life of constant thankfulness and brought the joy of Jesus and happiness to everyone she met. Surviving are her husband of 23 years, Andrew J. Rodenhouse and was preceded in death by her first husband Gordon DeGraaf; son Mark DeGraaf; and brother Allen Johnson. Surviving are her children, Clare and Susan DeGraaf, Rick and Debbie DeGraaf, Gary and Kathy DeGraaf; her step children, Harris and Donna Rotman, Tom and Diane Rodenhouse, Ron and Renee Rodenhouse, Cheri Camp; her brothers, Delbert Johnson, Ron Johnson; 31 precious grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Christian Reformed Church, 3500 Byron Center Ave. with Pastor Mark Chanski and Pastor Douglas Kamstra officiating. Private interment at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive relatives and friends Thursday 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home west building, 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville.
