

DUDAS, BARBARA RUTH (Pennell) - Barbara, on the wings of angels, passed into life eternal, on Dec. 6th, in the loving care of Brookcrest Nursing Staff and family. Barb's children, Dick & Barb Dudas of Kentucky, John & Susanne Dudas of Ohio and Robyn & Dave Bowen of Grandville grieve the loss of their dear mother. Bill Dudas, devoted, beloved husband of 40 years was steadfastly present to say farewell at her eternal appointment. His 3 daughters and sons-in-laws stood lovingly near: Sue & Casey Sterk, Jan & Mark Eilar and RuthAnn & Brian Ingraham. Bill and Barb have 11 precious grand-children between them and 3 great-grandchildren.
Barb was born in the summer of 1927 and was raised in Berrien Springs in a country family. In her life she enjoyed high school cheerleading, bowling on league teams, motor-homing across America, formerly serving the Lions Club locally, and keeping her home lovely. She collected cat figurines, owl ornaments and U of M memorabilia and statistics.
The funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday at the Cook Memorial Chapel, 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville (East Building). The family will meet with relatives and friends on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Cook Funeral Home, Grandville (West Building). Memorial contributions may be made to New Morning Star Church of God in Christ Church - Youth Fund, 2210 Townline Road, Benton Harbor, MI 49022.
