Beatrice Marcella Formsma

She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years Russell “Rud” W. Formsma; brothers and sisters, Ann Hoyer, Alberta Rorabacher, Evelyn Van Dyke, Russell Dalson, Frank Dalson, and Albert Dalson.

She will be remembered lovingly by her family, daughter Ann Robert Tanja of Kalamazoo; grandchildren, Judson Heather Tanja of Kalamazoo, John Elizabeth Tanja of Grandville, Kara Tanja of Redlands, CA; great grandchildren, Leo, Ruby, Iris, Mitchell, and Katheryn; brothers and sisters, Charles Dalson, Patricia Marshall Norden, Gerry Bob Lignell; and several nieces and nephews.

Bea worked 17 years at Railway Express.

She also served as Deacon of East Congregational Church and member of Triad Guild.

The funeral service will be held Saturday 10:30 a.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, Grandville 4235 Prairie St. SW - west building with Rev. Sarah Campbell officiating.

The family will meet with relatives and friends 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Cook Funeral Home, Grandville west building.

Memorial contributions may be made to the East Congregational Memorial Fund or a Charity of One’s Choice.
