Dear cousins and extended families, 
 I wanted to let you know how sorry we were to hear about Uncle Barney's death. You are all in our daily thoughts and prayers. We are glad that he is no longer suffering!
 I have so many fond memories about the good ol' days, but especially the wonderful Christmas Days we all had together. We sure had great times at all of the Jonker get-togethers! The Christmas caroling for money!, playing games, tubing at the Holland Country Club, etc.!
 When my kids were younger and it was time to put them to bed, they would beg me to name all my Jonker cousins - - they knew that they would have another 15 minutes time to stay awake because there were so many to name! I would roll through the Barney Jonker kids with all the J's! I still remember all of my cousins very well - including each one of you guys - and the great personalities to go with each of ya'll! 
 We will not be able to be at the service, but please know that you are not far from us in our thoughts. Hold on to the good memories!

We have many good memories and a few videos of Uncle Barney, mostly from Thanksgivings over the last several years. He always brought homemade fudge. He's the only one of my mom's siblings that my kids ever really spent any time with. They are sorry to hear of his passing, as he "was a great guy!" 
 We're thankful both for him and for you, that he went peacefully and painlessly. 
 I'm sure my mom is welcoming him "home". They will both be in our thoughts, especially on Thanksgiving.

Just want to add to all the great family memories...besides the Christmas holidays and visits, one of my greatest memories was the time Cindy and I were going to stay for a few days with Jana in Grandville. Uncle Barney came and picked us up in a real CONVERTIBLE, top down and all. We thought we were really hot stuff, flying down Chicago Drive, waving at everyone like movie stars...he obliged us by honking all the way! For a minute or two I was glamorous!
