STEARNS Kriekaard – Betty Lynne Stearns, age 56, of Hastings formerly of Mesick, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, February 20, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Lois Stearns and sister, Bonnie. She will be lovingly remembered by her one true love, Bill Kriekaard; children, Billy Kriekaard, Wendy Kriekaard, Wade Chris Kriekaard, and Brad Kriekaard; grandchildren, Noah and E. Kriekaard; her siblings, Russ and Carol, Don and Jerri, and Carol; and nieces, nephews, and many friends.

The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Gun Lake Community Church – 12200 W M179, Wayland, MI. Interment will be at Dorr Cemetery. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Monday from 6–8 p.m. at the Byron Center Chapel of Cook Funeral Home, 2067 – 84th St SW.
