Beverly Betts

BETTS, Beverly Jane (Conran), age 79 of Jenison, Michigan passed away April 28, 2022. Beverly was born in Campbell, MO August 25, 1942 to George and Lottie Conran. They relocated to Flint, MI in 1956 where she graduated from Bendle High School in 1960. Three years later, in 1963, Beverly married her husband, Joseph Betts, and would have celebrated 59 years together in June of this year. Together they were blessed with two children, Michael and Lori, and fostered many more. They moved to Houghton Lake in 1990 where they owned and operated Granny B’s Antiques & Crafts, served as funeral ministry coordinators at Houghton Lake United Methodist Church, were active members of the Houghton Lake Relay for Life team, and served as committee members for the Boy Scouts of America Troop 955. After relocating to Jenison, MI in 2014, Beverly continued to bless others and was described as a “Nana to all those who needed one."

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents George and Lottie Conran and son-in-law, Jerry Betts. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Betts; children Michael (Michelle) Betts of Virginia Beach, VA and Lori Betts of Wyoming, MI; siblings Barbara King of Grand Rapids, MI and Bruce (Marilyn) Conran of Valencia, CA; grandchildren Jacob (Ashley) Betts, also from Wyoming, MI, and Skylar Betts of Sterling Heights, MI.
