

Bruce proudly served his country in the Army, serving two tours of duty in Vietnam, receiving many medals and commendations. He retired from the Army after 21 years of service. His last project was Pier Bravo in Okinawa, Japan. While working on Pier Bravo, he learned to scuba dive to perform underwater inspections. After retiring, he continued as a scuba instructor and was also certified as a scuba equipment repair technician in Hawaii. His hobbies included diving, golf, fishing, traveling with his beloved wife in their RV, and crocheting many handmade projects that he often gave away to those he loved and treasured.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents Donald H. and Freida M. Reynolds and his brother, Randall B. Reynolds. He will be remembered by his loving wife of 38 years, Debra Reynolds; and is survived by his brothers Donald W. Reynolds and Ronald G. Reynolds; and sister Vicki L. Holden. His family includes his beloved nieces Wendy (Chris), Dawn (Randy), Heather (Boe), Megan, and Chelsea (Rob); nephews and friends.
A celebration of Bruce’s life will commence 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2026, with visitation one hour prior, at Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building), 4235 Prairie Street SW, Grandville, MI 49418. Pastor Dennis Gilbert will be officiating. In honor of Bruce and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Special Olympics Michigan.
