Charles Ralph Karas, age 81, went to be with his Lord Sunday, December 11, 2022. He was preceded in death by his wife, Christa Karas; siblings Marion (Mary) Karas, Stanley Karas, Raymond (Dolores) Karas, Bernard Karas, Sister Margaret Karas SSND, Jerome (Joan) Karas, Dorothy Sokol-Budnick, Richard (Mary) Karas.
He will be lovingly remembered by his children Kelly Foster, Tracy (Mike) Steffes, and Nick (Tammy) Karas, Toni (Mike) Brace; grandchildren Kelli (Mark) Reinhart, Jessica (Chans) Siharath, and Tim (Bailey) Steffes; great-grandchildren Jaelyn, Jace, Jordan, Keano, Peyton, Ashton, Sutton, Shia; brother, Edmund (Bernardine) Karas; in-laws Pauline Karas, Mary Lemieux, Dorothy Karas; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation with Charles’ friends and relatives will take place from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, December 14, 2022, with Rosary beginning at 6:30 p.m., at Cook Funeral Home (West building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418. Memorial Mass will commence 11 a.m. Friday, December 16, 2022, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m., at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3937 Wilson Ave. SW, Grandville. In honor of Charles, contributions may be made to St. Pius X Haiti Mission or St. Pius X Catholic Church.
