Christa Jo Karas

Beloved wife, mother and grandmother, she will be deeply missed by her husband, Charles; children, Kelly Foster and her husband John Coso, Tracy and Mike Steffes and Nick Karas; grandchildren, Kelli, Jessica and Tim. Also surviving are her sisters and brother, Raleigh Jacques, Toni Brace and Eric Rasmussen; a very dear cousin, Barbara Smith; several nieces, nephews and numerous dear friends.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 1, 2005 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3937 Wilson SW, with Rev. George Darling as celebrant.

Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may meet Christa’s family on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home west building 4235 Prairie SW in Grandville.

The rosary will be prayed at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

Contributions in memory of Christa may be made to St. Pius X Haiti Mission, c/o St. Pius X Catholic Church.
