Christine Marie Gillissen

GILLISSEN Ambrose – Christine Marie Gillissen, age 40, with dignity and grace, gently fell asleep in death surrounded by her loving family on June 6, 2010. Those who will miss her and look forward to her return in the resurrection are her husband Mark; children, Erika, Cody, and Bobby; parents, Bob and Linda Ambrose; sister, Patty Wes Bulley; brothers, Randy Robin and Joe Jenny Ambrose; in-laws, Denny, Penny, and Michael Gillissen; nieces, Alaina and Brooke Bulley, Hayley, Darcy, and Lauren Ambrose; nephews, Luke and Blake Ambrose and Bryce Kettler; aunts, uncles, cousins and many spiritual brothers, sisters, and friends. Chris fought the fine fight of the faith and won. She was a loyal servant of her God Jehovah and shared that love and faith with others. She was a beautiful and loving wife, a devoted and caring mother, a precious, sweet daughter, a wonderful and cherished sister and a good and loyal friend. There are no words to express how much she will be missed and only the promise of her return will make her absence bearable.

A memorial service in her honor will be held on Sunday, June 13, 2010 at 5:30 PM in the auditorium of East Kentwood High School, 6230 Kalamazoo SE, Kentwood, MI 49508 with Phillip Nelson officiating. In lieu of flowers, consider making a donation in her name to the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, 25 Columbia Heights, Brooklyn, NY 11201-2483.
