He was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Deemter. He is survived by his loving wife and friend Erika; his father Robert Marge Deemter; brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, Dawn Paul Meyering and Gunnar, Mackenzie and Holden; Donn Shelley Deemter and Madelyn and Brooklyn; Janice Scott Bosscher; Eric Wood; father and mother-in-law Kenneth and Florence Schumacker; sister-in-law Kimberly David Gill and Nicholas and Avery; grandparents John and Winnifred Koster; grandparents-in-law Bernice Schumacker, Ann and Geert Algra-Muizelaraar; Jack Jane Koster; cousins Kristin Bryant Huyser and Kevin Koster.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at the Cook Memorial Chapel east building 4235 Prairie Street, SW with Rev. Richard VanderKlok officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends Tuesday 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home Grandville west building.
