I worked with Daryl in the cardiac rehab program. Daryl was a joy to work with and was very helpful in coordinating prizes for our annual golf outings. My fondest memories are of Daryl out on the Golf Course at Byron Hills. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this time of loss. God Bless You.

I am very sorry to hear of your loss. Mr. Hedgecock was one of my favorite teachers when I attended Wyoming Park. He was also my drivers training instructor. I remember when we were driving around town one day, we stopped at a local golf shop and then we went for ice cream. At school he was always very strict, which he needed to be, but outside of school he was a very kind person. Our prayers are with you.

Mrs.Hedgecock, I had Mr.Hedgecock for typing in high school for two years and I wrestled for the high school with Daryl's son, Tim. Daryl always asked on Monday morning how I did at the wrestling tournament over the weekend, and no matter what the result, Daryl always had a positive piece of advice for me.He was a Great guy and a great teacher.May God comfort you and your family in this time of sorrow.

My sympathy goes out to his family. Mr. Hedgecock was my drivers training teacher back in 1971. I remember him as being a very intense teacher, but, if you did your work, he appreciated it. I knew his son Ed, because of a girlfriend of mine, Sue Ketelaar. I remember seeing him handling the clock duties at my neices' volleyball games and he remembered who I was long after I graduated. I saw him at at Wendy's with my own son and talked with him about old times at Park. He was a great teacher and very trusting with student drivers. I'm sure he will be missed.

I don't know if you remember me, Madeline. My husband Art Ondersma was a roomate of Daryl's two years agoat Brookcrest in the 4-bed ward when Daryl first had his stroke. My condolences to you and your family at this special time, and in the future. I pray that God will be your strength and comfort, and that He will fill your hearts with the peace that only He can give.
