Diane Marie Stiles

Diane Marie Stiles, age 66, stepped into the presence of her loving Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, October 2, 2015.

She was preceded in death by her parents Gordon and Rachel Brown. Diane will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 47 years, Leslie Stiles; her children, Mark Stiles, Sarah Carpenter, and Elizabeth (Jacob) Supri; her grandchildren, Elsa and Colin Carpenter, Isabel and Isaac Supri; her sisters, Karen (Frank) Cherava, Mary (Don) Inks; and her in-laws, Gordon Stiles, Rosalyn Reed, Francis Stiles, and Robert Miller.

Diane was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and loving sister. She was very warm, charming and loved everyone with abandon, demonstrating Christ's unconditional love. Everyone who met Diane was drawn to her gentle kind spirit. Above all else Diane loved spending time with her family, going to movies, going out to eat, and especially sharing in holiday celebrations. A treasured gift was one of her hand-crocheted blankets for the grandchildren, and time spent doing crafts and activities with them. Diane's gift at the piano was a blessing to many as she was able to hear a tune and reproduce it beautifully. She faithfully remembered family and friends on their special days sending birthday and anniversary wishes. To all who knew her she was a gift from God wrapped up and opened with joy each time you met.

A time to gather with the family to share memories, laughter and love, will be held from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at Cook Funeral Home in Grandville, 4235 Prairie St. SW (west building). Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 7, at Cook Memorial Chapel (east building). In honor of Diane, contributions may be made to The Potter's House or the March of Dimes.
