Donna received her diploma from Vassar High School and an associate degree from Central Michigan University. She was married to the late Donald J. Twietmeyer August 1, 1959. She worked at the local bank and credit union until retirement. She was an active volunteer at Bethesda and Covenant Hospital. Surviving are her children Debora (Dennis) Gillis, Deann (Kevin) Hurn, and Daniel Twietmeyer; grandchildren Amy (Cory) Benson, Megan (Michael) Kwantes, Katie (Jon) Wybo, Kjia (Dustin) Pawloski, Elli and Jacob Twietmeyer; and seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She is preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Dena Twietmeyer.
A family celebration of Donna’s life will commence 1 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2023 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 950 North Center Road, Saginaw, MI 48638, with a visitation beginning at 12:30 pm. In honor of Donna and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Paws With A Cause, Susan G. Komen, and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
