Doris Marie Wind

WIND Lubbers – Doris Marie Wind, age 86, of Allendale, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, August 20, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Wind, Sr, daughter, Pamela Voetberg, grandson, Troy Allen Wind, and great grandson, Gary Cook III. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Harold Bernie Hinton Wind Jr., Larry Char Wind, Ken Beth Wind, Ron Mary Wind, and Patricia Ric Johnson; 19 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren; and many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and friends.

The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Cook Memorial Chapel, 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville East Building. Interment will be at Floral View Memorial Gardens. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, Grandville West Building.
