Ellen Jane Schaap

SCHAAP Bush – Ellen Jane Schaap, age 84, of Jenison, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 13, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Schaap and daughter, Kathy Scott. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Joanne Schaap, Phil Mary Schaap, Sallie Phil Zigterman, and Barbara Dennis Koppenaal; 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; and sister, Evelyn Poppema.

Ellen was a long time member of Grand Rapids First Assembly. The funeral service will be held 2 pm Monday at the Grand Rapids First Assembly, 2100 44th SW with Pastor French officiating. Interment will be at Fort Custer National Cemetery. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Monday one hour prior to the service at the church.
