

Emily DeWitt, age 91, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 22, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack DeWitt; son-in-law, David Lee Huzinga; grandchildren Kyle Jeffrey Huzinga and Danielle DeWitt; brothers Ralph Glass, Henry Glass, Walter Glass; sister, Constance Weston; sisters-in-law Nancy and Marilyn Glass; brothers-in-law Allen Weston, John Star, Marvin DeWitt, Harvey DeWitt, James DeWitt, Jerry DeWitt, and John Bouteres.
She will be lovingly missed by her children Sue (Rick) Grasman, John DeWitt, Linda (Roger) VanDyke, Mark (Linda) DeWitt, Paul (Connie) DeWitt, Daniel (Ewa) DeWitt; grandchildren Megan Grasman, Derek (Audrey) Grasman, Brianna (Justin) Fukunaga, Lauren DeWitt, Lindsey Huizinga, Jeremy (Kelly) VanDyke, Joshua (Haley) Huizinga, Aubrey (Chris) Haley, Tennyson DeWitt, Michael (Mary) DeWitt, Alec DeWitt, Jake DeWitt, Nick DeWitt, Patrick DeWitt, Oliver DeWitt, Samantha DeWitt, Veronica DeWitt, Ethan DeWitt; great-grandchildren Ryer, Hunter, Larissa, Breckin, Samantha, Anna, Corinne, Addison, Jack; also surviving are brothers, sister, and sisters-in-law, Milly Glass, Cynthia Star, Thomas (Char) Glass, Linda Glass, Dick (Gayle) Glass, Robert (Dorothy) Glass, Ross (Terri) Glass, Anna Bouteres; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Emily was a faithful charter member of Rosewood Reformed Church where she taught catechism. She was a friend to all, and everyone who ever met her loved her. She was especially appreciative of her Sunday school class, whose members remained close to her throughout her life. Her life was one of service to her Lord and family; she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Graveside service will be held at 11:30AM Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Georgetown Township Cemetery with an hour of visitation prior to service. Pastor Howard Moth will be officiating.
