What a privilege to have known Erwin for many years as a co-laborer in Christ. His testimony and love for the Lord were an encouragment to many of us "younger" pastors. I know that you his family have many wonderful memories of this Godly man. What a heritage.

Since my brother Bob's marriage to Rev. Tuinstra's daughter Cheryl over 30 years ago I have met Erwin numerous times at family gatherings. I will always remember his reverent prayers and his high esteem for God. My father, Merrill Evans, enjoyed Erwin a lot and considered him his friend. Now, I can imagine my dad introducing Erwin and Donna to my mom, Reva who they never had a chance to meet. I can see Jesus smiling at them now! Losing your loved one is so much easier when you know you will join them and live with Jesus together... forever! May you all sense God's loving hand upon you during this time of earthly loss and heavenly gain.

I have known Rev. Tuinstra for over 35 years since my brother Bob married his daughter Cherly (Evans). We often met at family gatherings and I especially remember his reverent prayers and his obvious deep devotion to our Lord and Savior. He reached out to my dad, Merrill Evans, and dad considered him his friend. You could tell that they enjoyed each other. Now my dad is probably introducing my mom, Reva, to Erwin and Donna. I can just see Jesus smiling as they laugh together again! May God's presence be upon you all as you grieve your earthly loss, but have gained a heavenly joy.

When my brother Bob married Cheryl Tuinstra our families were united together. We admired them so much and esp appreciated Erwin's reverent prayers and obvious love for His Lord and Savior. He enjoyed fellowship with my father Merrill Evans and dad considered him his friend. Now my dad is probably introducing Erwin and Donna to my mom Reva, who was already in heaven. I can just see Jesus smiling at them as they rejoice together. May you all feel the presense of God and His comfort as you mourn your earthly loss, but gain your heavely joy.

We want to say how much we enjoyed Pastor Tuinstra when he was at Lake Center. We loved his preaching and what an awesome job he did with the seniors. W are praying for the family during this time of loss. He will be greatly missed. Love Don and Jan Ritsema

Erwin was such an outstanding Bible teacher that, as a child, I paid attention--and still remember many of the things I learned through his sermons. The Tuinstra family has been near and dear to our hearts throughout the years Though distance has separated us, the rare visits are treasured. We remain united in our Savior's love and the memories we share 
 God bless you and comfort you all (or as my dad would say--"y'all") Linda, Terre, Ron and Cherl--and your families too.
