She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Young; and parents Ernest and Lillian Simmons.
She will be missed by her children Michael Young and Nancy Young; grandchild, Heather Ott; great-granddaughter, Alexa Funk-Ott; and many friends.
A private family service will be held on the east side of the state of Michigan next summer.
Interment will be at Deckerville Cemetery.
