

Frank Matthew Miller, age 83 of Wyoming, MI, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2024, following his battle with COPD. He was preceded in death by his parents Jean V. and Bernard M. Miller and one sister, Bernadette (Coyne).
Together with his wife of 62 years, Lynne, they traveled to all 50 states and many foreign countries. Frank and Lynne have two children Laurie (Mike) Willett and Matthew (Julie) Miller; three grandchildren Rachael (Matt) Sisson, Missy (Bill) Shacklady, and Aaron Miller; three great-grandchildren Jude and Luka Sisson and Palmer Shacklady. He enjoyed every minute shared with them.
Frank especially enjoyed the annual and many semi-annual fishing trips with the great crew of “The Rusty Hookers," and his Wednesday afternoon poker games. In 2001, Frank retired from his full-time position with the Michigan Army National Guard, having served over 42 years. He obtained the rank of Chief Warrant Officer Four. Frank was a founding member of the St. Paul's Anglican Catholic Church, 2560 Lake Michigan Dr. NW, Grand Rapids. He was the building contractor for the parish hall and spent many hours making those plans come to life.
There will be visitation two hours prior to the funeral Mass 12 p.m. February 1, 2025 at St. Paul's Anglican Catholic Church, 2560 Lake Michigan Dr. NW, Grand Rapids. Mass will be followed by full military honors. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s ACC.
