My heart aches for you all at the loss of this awesome little man that God gave too you, even if for just a little while. I too lost a little one, a daughter back in 2001. It is hard, maybe impossible to understand the reasoning of our Heavenly Father, why he would take home such a young fellow such as Gabe? All I know is that God sees into the future, and we do not. God is sovereign in all his ways, and we are but fallible men. I want you to know that people are watching you to see how you go through this valley, and I am sure that you will live our a testimony of the Grace of God in front of them, that they may know that Jesus is real, and that your faith has found a resting place in Him. May God receive all the Glory!

Jon & Bethany, there are just no words we can offer that would mean anything at this time. All we can do is tell you that we love you and we serve a soverign Lord. Little Gabriel touched our lives when he was a member of the "infant" room at Mars Hill. He was such a blessing to care for. It was such a joy to love on hiim. In some way we felt 'loved back'. Please know our hearts are saddened and we pray for God to comfort you as only He can.
