Gail Rochelle Hallas, age 90, went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, May 10, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Lucinda Clemence; husband, Richard Hallas; daughter, Cathy Emert. She is survived by her children Richard (Carla) Hallas and Sue (Paul) Rios; very special former son-in-law, Todd Moeller; very special friend, Ivan; grandchildren Trevor Moeller, Jeff Moeller (Evelyn Westervelt), Cody Rider, and Taylor Emert; great-grandchildren Alexis and Darrell; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Gail’s family always came first and she was loved by all. She was a longtime member of the Church of the Open Door where she developed many lifelong friendships. Gail had a deep love for all of her cats.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, May 16, 2025 at Cook Memorial Chapel, with visitation from 10-11 a.m. prior to service. Pastor Dennis Gilbert will officiate. Interment will be at Floral View Memorial Gardens.
