Georgann H. Klunejko ("Georgie"), age 80, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, June 19, 2025. She was born on August 19, 1944, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Georgann’s family and friends remember her as a warm, loving, and supportive person. A devoted fan through and through, she cheered for her beloved Detroit Lions and Michigan State Spartans —"Go Green!" was more than a chant; it was part of who she was.
She was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Geneva; brother, Edward (Joe); and brother-in-law Bruce Filkins. She will be deeply missed by her sister, Sue Filkins; and nephews Brian and Jeffrey. She will also be remembered by Pamela Gould; sister-in-law, Paula Klunejko; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
