

HOVINGH Wallace – Georgia J. Hovingh, age 88, of Grandville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 30, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Hovingh; and siblings, Adrianne Wisner, Patricia Turok, and Edwin "Bud" Wallace. She will be lovingly remembered by her in-laws, Max Wisner, Charles Turok, Betty Wallace and Dorothy Hovingh; and many nieces, nephews, and good friends.
Georgia was a lifetime member of the Cascade Christian Church and was a member of the church choirs most of her life. She was also a member of the Eastern Star. The family would like to thank the staff at the Clark Retirement Village for their care for the last eleven years.
The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday at the Cascade Christian Church, 2829 Thornapple River Dr. NE, Grand Rapids 49546 with her nephew Charles Turok officiating. Interment will be at Grandville Cemetery. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Saturday from 5–7 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville West Building.
