Jerry was a loving husband and father of three. He enjoyed Battle Creek history, fishing, waterskiing, watching college football and basketball, and attending Michigan football games. He loved going out with friends and learning to line dance.
He attended Kellogg Community College and worked at various jobs, including church building, driving an ambulance, sales positions, and 25 years at Dictaphone Corporation. In later years, he worked as a financial advisor and greatly enjoyed helping seniors with their retirement planning.
It was very important for him to share his love for Jesus, and he felt it especially important to point the way to the Gospel. He served for many years as a church deacon and led the benevolent committee. He was devoted to giving to missions organizations that spread the Gospel to other people groups.
Jerry was happily married for 52 years and was an example of what hard work and dedication could accomplish. He was committed to excellence and worked hard to provide for his family.
He is survived by his daughter, Karen (Daniel) Johnson of Dupo, IL; daughter, Karla (Nathan) Wagner of Grand Rapids, MI; and son, Andrew (Alison) Yeo of Edwardsburg, MI. He is also loved and remembered by eight grandchildren Rachel, Levi, Brienna, Gabriel, Logan, Kylee, Eli, and Micah; and two great-grandchildren Moses and Arabella. Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Donna (Eden) Yeo, and his mother, Hazel Yeo.
