
His laughter, love, devotion, caring, and understanding will be greatly missed by all of his family and many friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 57 years Clara Jane; their devoted children, Harold Jr. Doc and Kathy Pierce, Annette Pierce, Shelly and Ken Loose; and his grandchildren, Kyle Pierce, Jason Pierce, Angela Loose, Benjamin Loose and Katherine Loose.
Harold’s absence will also be missed by his sisters and brothers, Geraldine Willard, Gordon Barbara Pierce, Darlene Brown, Robert Carol Pierce, Delores Sidney VanderBaan and Linda Bill McSweeney; and Clara’s siblings, Cora VanderWerf, Alice Krause, Marge and Bill Berrevoets and Grace Smith; as well as many nieces and nephews that have special memories of uncle Harold.
Harold had many very special friends and neighbors that shared his life!
Harold was a veteran of WWII.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2004 at Berean Bible Church of Byron Center US 131 and 84th St. at 11 a.m. with pastors John Lowder and Scott Rolff officiating.
Interment will be in Winchester Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may meet Harold’s family Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, Byron Center Chapel 2067 84th SW.
In lieu of flowers, it was the wish of Harold and now his family, that contributions in his memory may be given to help with the medical expenses of his quadriplegic daughter.
